Rassie has picked a very strong starting team for the All Blacks. The strongest available scrumming front row of Louw, Marx and Nche has been picked – question is will the refs reward the Bok scrum? Andre Esterhuizen has been picked in the hybrid bench role with SFM preferred ahead of Libbok.

The All Blacks have had three games to keep their squad match fit and build cohesion whereas many of the Boks have not played since the games against Wales or even England. The Boks cannot afford to be as rusty as they were against a weakened Argentina team – the All Blacks with especially Roigard back given the slightest bit of space will score plenty of tries. This team will also be no slouch at the contact point – Rennie has e.g. selected Vaa’i (usually a lock) as a blindside. However there is no question that the Boks will be psyched up for this game – it will be a cracker.
