Jordan starts against Wales

Jordan Hendrikse will start against Wales next to his brother. Rassie has kept the rest of the backline that played against England. Bongi and PSDT are rested. Jean Kleyn and Franco Mostert starts with Eben and RG moving to the bench. Johan Grobbelaar will get another start at hooker.

My only slight worry about this team is the lineouts where only Bongi has managed to do a decent job this year. The Boks would halt the English onslaught with a turnover penalty only for the wobbly lineout to hand the ball straight back to the English. Fortunately Wales is in a deep hole at the moment and will probably be unable to make more of these gifts than the middling English attack managed in the second half.

I am excited to see Cameron Hanekom on the bench. He may wear the light blue jersey for most of the year but if he can continue building on his form he is the future at number eight for South Africa. One thing Rassie has been doing well is to build quality depth in the greater Bok squad.

Change: Ox has now been rested with Wilco Louw starting at tight head and Thomas du Toit shifting to loose head.
