7-1 for Scotland
Rassie has decided to rest a number of his first choice players against Scotland (De Allende, Kriel, Kolbe, KLA and Fassi) and has benched a further three (PSDT, Kolisi and Wiese). The plan is clear to bludgeon Scotland up front as Grant Williams is the sole back on the bench also loaded with Marx, Steenekamp, Koch and RG Snyman
There is a risk taking on a well oiled Scottish back line with a re-jigged (but still quality players) back line. Likewise should he revert back to his tried and tested against England next week, some of the rested players could still be a bit rusty in what will be the toughest game of the tour. However Rassie has two WC’s in his cupboard – so he does know best.
