It’s Currie Cup Final Time

The Hollywoodbets Sharks will take on the Fidelity ADT Lions at Emirates Airline Park, in Saturday’s Carling Currie Cup Final. An eight match unbeaten streak, that includes a win over the Lions, will give the Hollywoodbets Sharks team momentum and confidence going into the final.

There’s only two changes to the starting 15, with Emmanuel Tshituka starting at no. 8 for the injured Phepsi Buthelezi and Jurenzo Julius returns at outside centre in place of Francois Venter.

On the bench there’s a 6-2 split, with Dylan Richardson, Tinotenda Mavesere (both back from injuries) and Mawande Mdande returning to the match day 23. Jason Jenkins is also on the bench and will make his Sharks debut if, or rather when he takes the field.

Hopefully the four locks and new prop that was selected for this game will help fix the Sharks scrum, that struggled against the Bulls team, to give the exciting back line some good ball to play with!

Inured players: Braam Reyneke, Dan Jooste, Diego Appollis, Hakeem Kunene, Ig Prinsloo, Khwezi Mona, Marnus Potgieter, Phepsi Buthelezi, Siya Ngiza, Thomas Dyer & Yaw Penxe

Kick off will be at 16h00 and the match officials for the final will be: Morne Ferreira (Referee),
Griffin Colby, Stephan Geldenhuys (Assistant Referees) and Egon Seconds (TMO).
