5 Boks start against the Kwas

JP Pietersen has selected a strong team containing 5 capped Boks (Mchunu, Nyakane, Mapimpi, Esterhuizen and Fassi) to start against the Griquas in Kimberley. Phepsi Buthelezi will also feature in the blind side flank position with Nick Hatton retaining the number 8 jersey.

Lionel Cronje will again run the show from flyhalf – I guess the plan is to use his experience to settle the youngsters.

This is a pretty strong team and should give the Griquas a run for their money. However as always it will be important for the team to find some cohesion with a number of unfamiliar combinations in the back line especially.
