Coach Nienaber has selected 10 players of the group sent ahead to New Zealand, with the rest made up from players that featured against the Wobblies. Having Grant Williams on the bench (can play at wing) allows him to go with another 6-2 split on the bench.

Damian Willemse will run play from flyhalf with Manie Libbok on the bench. The starting eight and forward reserves will be able to go toe to toe with any pack in the world – only major concern for the starting team is that Willemse is not the most consistent of place kickers.
