Cell C Sharks time to travel to Loftus

It’s time for the Cell C Sharks to travel to Pretoria for their game against the Vodacom Blue Bulls on Saturday.

Although last weeks victory against the Windhoek Draught Griquas was not perfect, it was the first time the Shark’s Currie Cup team managed two consecutive victories. This week they will try to make it three in a row and to also take “revenge” for the loss they suffered in Durban.

As is now the norm there is once again a lot of rotational changes. The Cell C Sharks starting team has four changes and one positional swich. Upfront Dan Jooste replace Kerron van Vuuren. In the backs Tiaan Fourie, Murray Koster and Phikolomzi Sobahle replace Bradley Davids, Joshua Jonas and Marnus Potgieter. With Marnus Potgieter travelling to Ireland Yaw Penxe shifts to 11.

On the bench there’s a six two split with another four changes. Dameon Venter, Wiehahn Herbst, Mpilo Gumede and Zee Mkhabela is the new faces in the match day 23.

With little chance for a victory in Ireland against Leinster, I really hope the Curie Cup side can get “revenge” and a third consecutive victory!
