Cell C Sharks Currie Cup team to face Bulls

The Cell C Sharks will host the Vodacom Bulls at Hollywoodbets Kings Park on Friday afternoon at 15h30. This Currie Cup match will also serve as a curtain raiser for the URC game featuring the Cell C Sharks vs Benetton.

Although the victory against the high flying Airlink Pumas was a huge achievement they will face another tough match against a highly motivated Bulls team.

As is seemingly the norm for coach Mongalo there is once again numerous changes to the matchday 23.

Jooste, Jacobs, Davids and Penxe did not feature in the victory against the Airlink Pumas and finds places in the starting 15. Mavesere and Jonas are “promoted” from the bench to the starting 15. The final changes to the starting team is Barnard & Rahl swaps the no 4 & 7 jerseys.

Mbatha, Mchunu, Fourie “drops” to the bench that also feature two “new” additions in Khethani and Gumede.

With all the changes I really hope the Currie Cup side can keep the momentum they build with last weeks great victory!
