Rotation for Lions – SharksWorld

Neil Powell has rested a number of players for the home game against the Lions – Eben Etzebeth, Bongi Mbonambi, Ntuthuko Mchunu and Francois Venter. Siya Kolisi and Ben Tapuai will feature from the bench.

Vincent Tshituka is back at 4 lock and Thomas du Toit moves to loose head. Grant Williams and Jaden Hendrikse rotates at 9. Rohan Janse van Rensburg and Lukhanyo Am will form a new centre combination.

This is a must win game for the Sharks who sits at 10th position (19 log points) on the URC (although they have played only 7 games). The Lions are playing good rugby this year and cannot be underestimated. The Sharks pack will again have to stand up and dominate from the start of the match – without Etzebeth and with Kolisi watching from the bench.
