Libbok on the bench against France

Manie Libbok will likely feature later in the game against France with Damian Willemse retaining the 10 jersey. Rienaber has made a number of changes to the team that lost to Ireland. Franco Mostert slots in for the injured Lood de Jager with Marvin Orie moving onto the bench. Willie le Roux starts in the 15 jersey with Cheslin Kolbe moving back to 14, and Kurt-Lee Arendse moves over to 11. Faf de Klerk starts with Cobus Reinach on the bench. Ox Nche and Bongi Mbonambi swap jerseys with Steven Kitshoff and Malcolm Marx.

The French had quite a wake-up call against Australia. They will look to match the Boks in the forwards and then use their superior attack to win the game. The sad part really is that the Boks (like the Sharks) can score some sublime tries, but usually they seem to be stuck in a very rigid pattern which is fairly easy to defend against by top class teams.

The Boks have won the last 7 tests against France (including 2 in Paris), but the last game was in 2018. The French team under Fabien GalthiƩ is a different beast though.

Some good news for the Boks is that Wayne Barnes will referee the game.
