Frans Steyn starts at 10

Frans Steyn starts at 10 in place of the concussed Damian Willemse, while PSDT is back at 7. Bongi Mbomambi makes a welcome return on the bench. Vincent Koch replaces the out of sorts Trevor Nyakane on the bench. Kurt-Lee Arendse should also add some zip later in the game.

The Boks were very clinical in the first half in BA, but then the lineout and scrum started creaking in the second half. Granted the Pumas did not lie down and ferociously attacked the Boks at their usual points of strength – lineouts, scrums and the breakdown. The Boks did do well to come back and close out the game, but hopefully the reserves will be able to add some bomb squad power later in this game.
