Now what?

Now what?

I really do feel for JPP. He has been landed with an impossible job with the squad he has been given. It is clear from this interview that the Sharks have given up on the Currie Cup and the only focus is on the URC.

However this approach has many dangers – as the journalist asks at 5:20 “Are you not afraid if you throw players into a competition they are not ready for that you will break players?” It is clear from the interview that many players were in tears after the game. No player or coach for that matter enjoy getting klapped like this week in and out. Our owner goes on about the players having to enjoy themselves – what fun is there in being totally outclassed?

I do feel that Eduard Coetzee and Neil Powell should be asked these same questions. Also why were no pre-season games arranged for this team to gel before the season started?

The part owner (and amateur journalist) of this channel is a REAL Bull supporter. To hear the pity in his questions – that really sticks in the throat.

I honestly cannot see the harm in using a few fringe URC players or URC players that did not have a lot of game time to be included in the squad.
